Beijing No.8 High School Yongding Experimental Campus New Semester Foreign Teacher Program Kick-off Meeting




In order to improve the management and teaching of foreign teachers, so that they can adapt to the reform, development, and innovation of the school more quickly, on the morning of August 25, 2020, a new semester program kick-off meeting was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the administration building of Beijing No. 8 Middle School Yongding Experimental Campus. Director Wang and deputy director Shi of BTC, foreign teachers, as well as deputy principal Yang of the school, and directors of Grade 10 and Grade 11 attended the meeting.



Firstly, Director Wang Peng introduced the newly recruited foreign teacher this semester and some new ideas about BTC foreign teacher program for this new semester.


Next, deputy principal Yang of Beijing No. 8 Middle School Yongding Experimental Campus gave instructions on the plan and time arrangement of foreign teachers' courses in the new semester and the precautions for the current resumption of offline classes.




The two grade directors also pointed out that foreign teachers should be clear about their job responsibilities and result-oriented in the teaching process to help students improve their English listening and speaking skills.


After this meeting, the foreign teachers have a better understanding of their work. The meeting helped teachers to clarify teaching goals and requirements, and made education and teaching work more standardized. At the same time, it also ensures that foreign teachers can report to duty in time, have sufficient time to prepare lessons in advance, and devote themselves to the teaching activities of the new semester with top spirit. Director Wang and deputy principal Yang also conducted further communication and exchanges ideas on how to make full use of the resources of foreign teachers in teaching to better serve the high school and college entrance exams.
