遥知万象 感悟天地——北京第二实验小学永定分校“爱慧大讲堂”科技专题讲座

2023年3月31日上午，北京第二实验小学永定分校举办了“爱慧大讲堂”科技专题讲座，在北京博文圣译国际文化交流中心(BTC)主任王朋老师和主任助理王希老师的陪同下，中国科学院空天信息创新研究院，遥感科学国家重点实验室研究员、博士生导师张新教授来到京西百年老校北京第二实验小学永定分校，为学校师生们做了一场以遥感科技为主题的《遥知万象感悟天地》科普知识讲座。

        On March 31,2023, Beijing Second Experimental Primary School Yongding Branch which is a century-old school in the west of Beijing, held a scienceand technology lecture given by Professor Zhang. Professor Zhang is a researcherof Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciencesand State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science. Accompanied by Mr. Wang Peng, the director of Beijing Broaden & Top-transCommunication Center (BTC), Professor Zhang came to the school and give teachers and students a Lecture on Remote Sensing.

张教授怀穿着强烈的爱国情怀和对祖国下一代教育的高度社会责任感，走进了北京第二实验小学永定分校。

Professor Zhang entered Beijing SecondExperimental Primary SchoolYongding Branch with strong patriotic feelingsand a high sense of social responsibility for educating the next generation ofthe motherland.

学校少先队员为张新教授献红领巾表达对张教授到来的热烈欢迎和感谢；校党总支书记、校长谭峰老师为张教授颁发聘书，聘请张教授为学校科技教育指导专家。

A member ofthe school’s Young Pioneers presented a red scarf to Professor Zhang to expressthe students’ warm welcome and gratitude for his arrival. Principal Tan, issueda letter of appointment to Professor Zhang and hired him as the guidance expertof science and technology education of the school.

张新教授结合学生们日常生活学习的所闻所见，从“什么是遥感、怎样实现遥感、遥感有什么作用、我国遥感的发展”几个方面，生动地讲解了“遥感”这一深奥的科学知识。答疑互动环节，谭峰校长和BTC王朋主任以简短而有力的讲话鼓励和激发在场学生们的求知欲望和探索精神，向张教授积极提问。

ProfessorZhang explained the scientific knowledge of "remote sensing" vividlyfrom the aspects of "what remote sensing is, how to realize remotesensing, what functions remote sensing has, and the development of remotesensing in our country". During the Q&A session, Principal Tan andDirector Wang gave short and powerful speeches to encourage students askquestions and stimulate their desire for knowledge and exploration.

本次北京第二实验小学永定分校的“爱慧大讲堂”科技专题讲座，拉近了科学家与学生们的距离，在孩子们心中深深地种下了爱科学的种子。相信科学家走进小学校园活动，不仅弘扬了科学精神、普及了科学知识，更激发了孩子们的科学家梦想。或许20年后某一位敲开张新教授办公室门的科学家，正是当年一名在台下听报告的北京第二实验小学永定分校的小学生。

The scienceand technology lecture of remote sensing in Beijing Second Experimental PrimarySchool Yongding Branch reduced the distance between a scientist and students,deeply planted the seeds of love for science in the hearts of young students. A scientist’s lecture in primary school notonly promotes the scientific spirit and popularizes scientific knowledge amongschools, but also inspires children's dreams of being scientists. Perhaps 20 years later, a young scientist knocking on the professorZhang's office door will be someone who listened to the lecture when he/she wasa student of Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School Yongding Branch.
